WE had visitors this afternoon! Danae was a very good hostess. Almost no poop!

Here's A Couple For the Fans....

Been a long week! Mommy is still hanging in there like a champ - turns out you can live on eight and a half minutes of sleep a week! I try to give as many breaks as I can, but I'm missing a couple things.

Happy Week-A-Versery!!

WE threw her a happy week-a-versery party (a momentous and historic occasion I just made up). I don't think she remembers much. She was hitting the milk pretty hard. She could barely walk home. We had to carry her most of the way!

We took Nana to the airport. We will see her again soon!

Granda Sue Comes To Visit (and Danae Learns To Poop)

Grandma Sue is staying with us for a little while and helping with Danae (and everything else!). I think she maybe be trying to work out a way to sneak Danae back to Michigan in a carry-on bag. Every once in a while I catch her kind-of measuring the baby and looking at her bag.

Guess who learned to poop? That's right! ME! Oh, wait, I learned to clean up poop. Baby girl had her first messy. Now I think she's going pro...she seems to be practicing for the poop olympics or something. She squints up her face real tight...looks around...and lets it fly.

Second Day Home

We had a very nice first night - little fussy, but not too bad.

Apparently, babies like to eat and sleep. We got her a pony, but she keeps trying to put the poor little horse in her mouth. It's a good thing we didn't get her that Porsche.

Mommy continues to be a champ with the feeding.

Some people look at their babies and see a little ballerina, or a little princess. I have a strong suspicion she's going to grow up to be a pirate. Sure, a pirate princess, but a pirate all the same.

Say Hello To Danae Marie!

Danae Marie Nurenberg was born on May 30th at 12:27 pm. She weighed 8 pounds and was 20 inches long !
