Congratulations Aunty Jen And Uncle Rusty!

Yay! Aunt Jen and Uncle Rusty got hitched! It was beautiful, and everybody had a very good time!

We are a little late with this week's blog - Danae decided that 10:30 would be a good bedtime for her last night, and Daddy was just too pooped to blog. So, without further ado...

Aunty Jen hired a very expensive wedding coordinator, Sue Corbett-Marshall. If you have the money (and the celebrity status), we highly recommend her!
Danae decided that she should share the spotlight with Aliyah and Audrey....
....so we played with a tree during the ceremony. It was a nice tree, and it provided us with shade and entertainment!

Mommy was in the ceremony too! Doesn't she look beautiful?

Danae got her first kiss. Kaiden seems like a nice boy, and he has a good job, so Daddy didn't mind (so much).

As the evening wore on, Daddy was worried that we were a little ragged with all the noise and staying up late. Mommy grabbed us and whisked us out to the dance floor and...

...created PARTY BABY! The non-stop dance machine - and I mean non-stop. Ever try to say your goodbye's with a party baby while the D.J. is playing the hustle? She even danced in her pajamas!

We stayed until 9:30. When we got home, we went right to sleep. Daddy had nothing to worry about (this time).

Getting Ready For Aunty Jen's Wedding And Having A Rough Week...

We had our year vaccinations (chicken pox, measles and mumps), and they are kicking our little butt! We've been running a fever every night between 3 and 6 in the morning .

We were a little better today though.

We went to Cousin Kaine's baseball game. We brought our pom-poms we got for our birthday!

It only takes one rotten apple to spoil a nice family picture.

And here is the almost unphotographable Uncle Rusty, who just so happens to be getting married on Saturday! Yay!

Special birthday shout-out to Jay Rao!

Super Mega Happy First Birthday Blog!!!

Happy First Birthday! We had an exciting week! We've given up the bottle, we now get to face forward in the car seat, we learned to call the kitties (they don't actually come yet), and did I mention that we are a year old now?

Our party was wonderful! We only wiped out once or twice, and we had balloons! Grandma Sue managed to snag a pavillion in Marysville park. She said she didn't have to fight anyone, but she was ready to...

Mommy even made two cakes! One was a carrot cake shaped like a booty, the other one was a regular cherry cake with pink vanilla frosting (delicious!).

There was a little waterpark next to the pavillion. We made friends, but the water was cold.

Aunty Cat had to go home on Sunday. We miss her, but we will see her again soon!

Happy Birthday Aunty Jen, Happy Memorial Day, Aunty Cat Comes To Visit And We Now Say "Hi!"

Happy Birthday Aunty Jen! She turned 30 this Wednesday...but she still feels 15.

We had a busy week! Aunty Cat and Phoenix came to visit...

...we went to the beach...

...played on the swings..

...took many walks...

..and we are saying "Hi" in context and with regularity! Yay!

We also had a Memorial Day cookout at the GG's house. It was wonderful!

Waiting For Aunty Cat, Cutting New Teeth And Learning To Be Snotty

We have had an exciting week! We went to Cousin Kaine's baseball game, we helped Aunty Jen put together bottles and played with Rex, we got a ride from the Girl GG, we're cutting a new tooth, we have started to assert ourselves (we pout and whine when we don't get our way!) and
Aunty Cat is coming on Sunday! Yay!

Daddy's shirt is kind of like a dress for us. Still looks good, though.

The new tooth is kicking our little butt. It may be contributing to the sassy factor, but only a little. We are also picking up objects and eating them at an astouding rate. Daddy's been bitten twice today trying to pull new and interesting things from the monkey's mouth.
Have you ever had a little 22-pound girl try to pull her hand out of yours because she wants to go in a different direction than you? It's funny and sad. Mostly funny, though.

See this box? It has become an object of contention. Actually, walking behind the box and messing around with the nail clippers on the table while Mommy and Daddy continuously say "Danae! No! Danaaae...".

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a wonderful Mother's Day! We visited all the Moms and Grandmoms and Great Grandmoms and gave them flowers. We are also, by the way, full-on walking on flat surfaces. The slightest object causes us to fall on our butt, and forget about grass or hills. We are also speaking whole sentences in jibberish. Daddy thinks we are seconds away from just voicing our every little thought like we've been doing it all the time.

We went to Kaine's baseball game. It was very cold! Kaine's team won. Yay Cousin Kaine!

Imagine all the exciting things that happened between this picture...

...and this one!

We took this opportunity to inform Daddy that we never want another green bean again!

Mommy and Aunty Jen went for a ride...

...then Grandma Sue and Kaine went for a ride.
