We have had an interesting week! We've spoken many new words, found excellent new toys, and discovered that we like snow after all (which is good, because there's a bunch of it!).Monday, December 17, 2007

Markers And Marching
This week we have graduated to markers. Specifically Sharpie Micros. It was tough at first. We colored our hands and clothes more than once. We have a system down now:1) Only one marker at a time
2) As soon as something distracts us, the marker goes away
3) Marker stays on the paper
4) Marker is not food
We have also started marching around the house. We saw a show with marching in it, and when we say "maatch" and start kicking our little feet up, Mommy and Daddy have to join in.There are occasional 3-person parades in our house now.

We Turn 18 Months Old!
We have had an exciting week! We turned 18 months old on Friday, we have fallen in love with Elmo, we somehow caught another cold - and have become a little fountain of fluids!
We have also suddenly become...uncomfortable with the whole bed-time thing again. The other night we decided that from 3:00 to 6:00 in the morning would make a good play time. Mommy and Daddy tried to take her to bed with us, but she insisted in patting Daddy's face and saying "Sleep?". (Of course, when she says it it sounds like "sheep?"). Daddy could only look at her with one eye open and say "yes, baby, sleep."...pat pat pat..."Sheep?"

Super Mega Ultra Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a very happy Thanksgiving! We went to the GG's house and ate turkey and even had a little pumpkin pie!
Would you like some ham on that cheese?
And just as I was giving thanks that there was no snow....
Babygirl wanted nothing at all to do with snow. Mommy must have stood there with snow in her hand for five minutes and Danae would not touch it.
All that snow and cold has made Uncle Rusty slow and easy to photograph. You still have to be quick, though. That Wascawy Wusty.
There was wrestling, and pinching-of-cheeks, there may have even been naps involved.Monday, November 19, 2007
A Much Better Mood.
Baby Girl is not sick, has no diaper rash, and doesn't appear to have any teeth coming in! Yay! We had an exciting week, have learned new words and have pushed many buttons and keys!
We inherited Grandma Sue's mini-organ that she had when she was a little girl. It apparently never needs tuning!Tuesday, November 13, 2007
Little Cold, Little Monster!
We have had an interesting and uncomfortable week! First, somehow or another we got diaper rash so bad we could do anything but cry. Then we got a little cold, and we have been - sassy. All in all not good picture material.
Daddy's been wanting to do this thing for awhile, so enjoy, and more next week.

Super Mega Halloween Blog!
We had a wonderful week! We had a party, played on a train, visited all our neighbors, wore a puppy suit, and had Aunty Mel and Aunty Kat sleep on our floor!
We really didn't understand the whole Halloween concept...we thought we were just visiting everyone.
Instead of Trick or Treat, we gave the first couple neighbors hugs and tried to walk in their houses. Nobody really minded though.
Aunty Jen and Kaine came over to help us with our first trick or treating.
Even Grandpa Ron and Grandma Fely helped!
At the end of the night, we couldn't understand what the whole thing was about - we don't even eat candy!
Eventually we just got tired and had to lay down for awhile.
