Waterpark and Crabapples
We had a good week this week. We played at the school alot. We threw crabapples and scarred geese (and we stepped in goosepoop!). We hung out at the GG's, and we are reading new Dr Suess books - slowly. She doesn't have a lot of patience for drawn out stories.Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Shoes On!
Happy Day! We finally got our shoes back on - now we can go to the park and the school and visit friends! We are still down with sidewalk chalk, but now it's mostly to paint it off with the paintbrush and water.
We went to the farmer's market this morning by the river and we saw boats and ducks. Grandpa Bill's official name is Poppa.

Danae Marie: The "NO"-minator
This week we have learned to use the word "no" in ways that Daddy didn't think were possible.
Let's start here: "No shoes!"
we have not worn shoes for any length of time since the boat show last weekend because we got a little cut on our heel, so "foot hurt". we have not gone to the park, or gone to visit friends. Daddy lets Danae go outside in barefeet in the yard or in the driveway.
No light out
No nap
No cookie (yes cookie once she thinks about it)
No bath - this is a tough one
No jammies - green pants!
No lunch
No done with lunch
No down
You get the idea.

Mommy let us have the camera for a little while, and this is a sample of our photographic prowess...Tuesday, July 29, 2008
Boats and The Mommy Monkey
This week we went to see the boat races! It was very exciting (all day Monday we saw boats everywhere.). We got to see Grandpa Bill and Grandma Linda, and we hung out in a big tent!Tuesday, July 22, 2008
Beach, Money, Yardsales and Inside
We went to the beach today! It wasn't one of those spur-of-the-moment beach trips either. We brought buckets and shovels and even a towel!
We also helped Aunty Jen with her yardsale. No pictures of that though. Yardsales in Michigan can get pretty ugly.Monday, July 14, 2008
Chalk And New Friends (And Baby Foster Hangs Out)
This week we have become sidewalk artists. Daddy can't break away from representational form, but Danae has founded her own school we're calling Neo-Modern Minimalist Daddyism. You basically draw a line from an object (say, a car tire) to an undetermined point away from the object, while naming the object and then saying "Daddy". We also hung out with baby Foster all day today! We even helped feed him !
The GGs had a very happy Birthday / Anniversery party.Monday, July 07, 2008
Happy Birthday Grandma Fely, Happy Birthday Boy GG and Happy Anniversary Boy and Girl GG!
We're back. Daddy had a horrible tooth abscess and it took him right out of the picture. Feeling much better now though. We had a nice 4th of July (we slept through the really loud fireworks) but we got to light a sparkler. We made pee pee on the potty again!Tuesday, June 24, 2008
Learning Our "K" Sounds
Not many pictures this week, but we've done alot! First off, we've learned our "K" sound! It's no longer "part" and "rot" and "trut" but "park" and "rock" and "truck"! We're also really into possesions now. Everything belongs to somebody - Daddy's car, Mommy's car, 'Nae's house. We are also pulling out the dreaded "Mine!".
