We have had a hectic and wonderful month! So much so that we rarely had a chance to pull the camera out! Danae started kindergarten - morning classes, so we have to get everyone up by 7:30 and out the door by 8:10. Guess who really likes to dawdle in the morning? She really likes school, though. She has art class and music class and gym day and library day.
I think this is the last sunny day we have had. Fall is here and it's been 50-60 degrees out and rainy everyday! We have been to the play area in the mall alot in the last month. Occasionally, Daddy will let them out with umbrellas and jackets. Yesterday we went for a walk in the woods at GG's house!
Bebop has told Mommy and Daddy he loves them 20 times a day for about 2 weeks now. You know what? Never get tired of that! He also tells Otis and Danae, though Danae is less than impressed. She usually just tickles him 'til he squeals. Otis just takes the affection with his usual patience.
The boy is really into soap and washing his hands. Anything with a pump on it, really. All hand washing activities are usually a production, with filling up the sink with cold water, pumping the soap and splashing around.
Baby girl has recently discovered changing her clothes. Like, 5 times a day! School clothes in the morning, she will put her PJs on for rest time after lunch, then change her clothes to play, and if we go anywhere, she will change her clothes again so all the kids will say "Oooh la la" (her words)
For some reason, Danane wanted Mommy to take a picture of her while she was sleeping, to see how cuddly she was. I maybe wrong, but that don't look too cuddly to me!

I Saw A Beetle!
We have had a good couple weeks! Much swimming and swinging at the park. Both Danae and Blake graduated from their swim classes. Danae is very excited about starting kindergarten. I don't think Blake will be thrilled at the idea of Danae doing something that he isn't doing. We'll see!
Blake has a story! It goes like this:
"j'know what?" Your know what?
"What?"
"I saw a beedo!" I saw a beetle!
"Where?"
"On the pwoch!" On the porch!
"What color was it?"
"Bwack a bwoo!" Black and blue!
I have heard this story a million times now, and I still love it. There are variations with a train now, as well.
On Thursdays Port Huron has "Rockin' The River". It's a free concert and every week they do different music styles. They have bounce houses and slides and bubbles. Bebop did not like the bounce house (he got a couple friction burns on his back because he couldn't keep his balance)!

Parade, Swim Class, and Uncle Joey Comes to Visit!
We are continuing to have a excellent summer! Danae graduated from beginners swim (now she is in the big pool!
), Bebop is now in swim class too! We were in the Boat Week parade, we saw horses, we went to the beach, Danae learned to pump on the swings, everybody got haircuts. We are still working on teaching Danae to ride her bike without training wheels. Oh! And Uncle Joey came to vivist for a little while (he promised he was coming back in August.).

Little Man is so certain he can swim. He did not want to hold Daddy's hand in the water, so Daddy had to keep a hand on his head at all times. He only went under once. Still did not learn his lesson.

Mommy has been letting Danae put Make-up on with her when she gets ready for work. She now puts the eye shadow on her eyes instead of her cheeks (which looked alot like a bruise!)

The last day of beginner's swim was a free day. We got to go in the big pool with the noodles and we almost, almost went off the diving board.

Super Mega Summer Blog
Here's what's been going on since last time: Danae graduated from young 4's! We went to the park for a field trip, where we had our ceremony. Everyone had a good time. Then we hopped in the car and drove to Kentucky! We saw Aunt Cat and Uncle Greg and Phoenix and Chaz (and all of Uncle Greg's extended family, who where very nice to us!). Turns out Kentucky is very hilly. Blake hopped on a tricycle they had there and took off down the neighbor's driveway, which was very steep! Daddy did not catch him in time and he took a header over the handle bars. Nothing broken, but he did scratch up his nose and had a fat lip for a couple days.
Danae is taking swim lessons again this summer. She's the only one in her class! She has 3 teachers for her "private" lessons. She's also really into the "Wild Kratts", this show on PBS about animals. She also wants a horse that can come into the house and watch TV with us. Daddy told her he wants a pet bear too.
Blake's new thing is anything that Danae has. Her spoon, her bed (where he now takes naps), her favorite peach yogurt. We no longer use sippy cups. Makes Daddy a little nervous, but it had to happen eventually. He loves his "Mac" truck from Cars. Everynight he plays with Mac and Lightning Mcqueen by the fish tank before he goes to bed. He's really into grabbing Daddy's hand and saying "talk" because he wants Mac and Lightning McQueen to have a conversations, which usually goes "Hi!" and "I'm Big!" then we race. His new phrase is "I can't believe it!". He's counting like a pro, but he still doesn't understand number concepts - give him a second though! We get all the way up to 12!
When Danae is tired and falls asleep before Blake, he will climb into bed with her. It doesn't happen very often, but it is so darn cute!![]()
Mommy took the kiddos to Marysville days and they got to ride on a train and a wave runner and boats!![]()
Nora might be Blakes girlfriend, if he could just stop taking toys away from her!

Happy 5th Birthday "Nae!
We had a wonderful 5th birthday! Thank you everyone. We got a new bike (we had way outgrown the old one) and some games and some nice new summer clothes. We had a pinata and a Dora cake and the house looked like a jungle!

Emma and Logon and Nora came over later and Blake got to squirt everyone with the hose.
Bebop got his second haircut! This one obviously went much better than the first. Mostly because he got to suirt himself and everything else with the sprayer. We are also eating without the high chair now!

Happy Easter! And Big Boy Bed!
We had a wonderful time over at Aunty Jenny's house!
We had an Easter Egg Hunt and nobody got sick on candy, though Blake did try to put too many carrots in his mouth at one time.

First of all, Danae is just a little braver than Daddy is comfortable with, and second Blake has no sense of gravity. Eventually we just made a fort. Safer that way.
