Getting Ready To Move To Michigan

We have had an interesting and exciting week. Today we were even blessed by a priest! We have had many boxes and balloons (oh, how we are fascinated by the balloons!). Packing is not so easy with baby. When she's sleeping you can only pack the "quiet" stuff, and when she's awake you have to be in the same room with her, or she gets bored.
Mommy took Danae out to lunch with Mel and Ian and Danny and Michelle and Uncle Tony. Danae enjoys fine dining the most when the crystal holds milk!Uncle Tony came back from the southern hemisphere with a beard! It's gone now, but we will always remember it with fondness.
Mommy and Daddy each had a night out. Daddy got a prime rib at Outback and played video games. Mommy went out with ALL her girlfriends.

Goodbye Florida friends! We will miss you!

So this is the last blog for a little while until we get settled. Now the family will get to see the monkey, and the friends will have to look at the blog to see her! (at least until they come and visit - hint, hint)

Happy Birthday Aunty Cat!!!

Aunty Cat turns 28 tomorrow, so Danae, Daddy and Mommy went to Aunty Cat's Mom Phylis's house for Meatballs and Cake (not at the same time). It was wonderful! Aunty Cat's a hair stylist, and swears she can do "something" with Danae's tail.
Then we went out drinkin'. This is what Danae looks like after 5 margaritas. She was drooling and telling everyone she loved them - well, gurgling at least.
Have you met my monkey?

One of these days, and probably soon, she's just gonna eat the camera. (so delicious and crunchy)

Labor Day Weekend and Uncle Aaron's Wild Pony Ride

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. We had a cookout over at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Aaron's house, we saw Brandon and Brian, and Jenny Debee, and we were licked by a dog!
But the best part, the part that made us giggle and squeal, was Uncle Aaron's wild pony ride. Does Danae like the pony ride?
Yes she does!
We had a nice bath as well. Mommy keeps trying to give us formula (that's a negative, ghostrider!) and put us to bed without the swaddle (negative as well - keep trying!). Makes us wonder if we'll be taking the bottle and wrapping up for bed when we're 18.
Probably not. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts, kid!
