So much stuff has gone on in the last 2 weeks, it's hard to know where to begin! Danae started young 4's, she went on her first field trip (the apple orchard), we had a birthday party for Nama, Daddy's car broke (fixed), the furnace broke (fixed), Blake had his speech assessment, and last but not least, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Aaron had a baby boy!Here is Baby Peyton! Bebop had his assessment for his speech (or lack of it). He was off the charts in understanding, or "receptive" communication. When they asked him to put the blocks in the basket, he did, and then started stacking them. He even pointed to a kite, though he's never seen one before! They seemed to think that because he was putting so much emphasis on motor coordination that speech just wasn't a priority. We'll see!
Bebop finally got to give Otis the big hug. Then they almost fell asleep together.
Danae's first field trip was to the apple orchard! We had a wondeful time. We picked apples, went on a hayride and saw animals!
Danae's teacher is Mrs. Phipps. Daddy did his volunteer day in Danae's class, and he is very glad he isn't teaching 4-year-olds!
