This week we have become sidewalk artists. Daddy can't break away from representational form, but Danae has founded her own school we're calling
Neo-Modern Minimalist
Daddyism. You basically draw a line
from an object (say, a car tire) to an undetermined point
away from the object, while
naming the object and then saying "Daddy".
We also hung out with baby Foster all day today! We even helped feed him !
The
GGs had a very happy Birthday /
Anniversery party.
Do you know who absolutely loves birthdays and the associated
accoutrement?
This week we went to see the boat races! It was very exciting (all day Monday we saw boats everywhere.). We got to see Grandpa Bill and Grandma Linda, and we hung out in a big tent!
Last night at bedtime, Mommy decided to pull out a monkey puppet. The Mommy Monkey is now Danae's best friend. Daddy cannot work the monkey correctly, only Mommy can do it right. And she has to do it all the time. Mommy's hand is a little sweaty from all the hot Monkey action.
Guitar lessons are still progressing. Now we sing songs (like the potty song, or the song about Mit). Still working on chords though...
