Danae Turns 8 Months Old

Danae Marie is 8 months old tomorrow! We're celebrating with a new installment of the Danae Marie Music Club. This week it's Chet Baker!

Danae now laughs at naptime! She slept from 11:00 til 7:00 last night!

The "psychic baby" thing was just a joke - or was it?

She has now officially assaulted every living thing in the house.

We are still working on solid foods...

We are skipping over learning to walk and are jumping straight into navigating a darkened room.

We are also taking belly-dancing classes.

Here's a family portait of Frank and Bob.

And here's what it's like outside!

Danae Meets The Bunny, Sleeps For Eight Hours, And Tries Potatos

We made a big friend this week. That's right! The bunny! Freaked us out a little at first, but now we walk all over the bunny. It's soft....

We also slept for eight hours straight this week (not pictured). No little wake-ups and no crying. We only did it once, but it proves that we can do it.

And we tried potatos (also not pictured here). Not so delicious. We really didn't even know what to make of them. Is this food?

It has been very, very cold outside. We are well prepared for anything mother nature throws at us. Ice, sleet, snow - whatever!

We really want that camera!

Little Trips

Mommy has taken Danae on many little trips this week!

We went to Girl GG's house and tried on our Christmas outfit the Girl GG made for us! Those puffy sleeves are not as delicious as they look!

We saw Grandma Sue and Cousin Kaine. Cousin Kaine is much less delicious than he looks, too. Grandma Sue, however, is as exactly as delicious as she looks!

Psychic Baby will tell your fortune in the spinny thing for 10 American Dollar! 10!

We are slowly getting used to the real big kitty (Rex the Dog). It's that tongue-as-big-as-my-face thing that freaks us out!

Then we kinda like it!
We had a spectacular bath, filled with duckies and crabby dippies, and much splashing!

Then we decided that we were too mature to be spashing and playing with duckies.

This has happened to all the trees! When the wind blows, all you hear is the cracking of ice.

Danae Marie eats stars!

Bathtime is important and fun. Mostly it's wet.

It also provides an opportunity to wear a new stylish hat!

Danae Eats Stars and Frank Gets A New Friend

We have had a busy week! We went to Port Huron to see the Boy GG, we added zuchinni to our menu, we're cutting a new tooth (the Girl GG is calling it Bob) and we're eating these little star-shaped crackers for babies - they're finger food!

We went to Nana's office and visited with Nana and the Girl GG. Here's Nana trying to figure a way to make Danae into a centerpiece for a Valentine's Day party

The Boy GG's airtube is delicious and fun!

Daddy got a new photo program and now he's getting all artsy. More later!

Happy New Year! (And We Make Faces With Cousin Kaine)

We celebrated our first New Year by drinking advanced formula instead of the regular formula - turns out advanced formula has 10 times more sugar than regular - and bouncing off the sides of the crib til 11:30! We were making noises Daddy's never heard before! It's a good thing we only have one tooth, or we would have chewed through the crib slats!
Colored beads are not the only thing we're eating! We are also trying peas (with very little success). Maybe if Mommy and Daddy are quick, you can see the face we make when we try peas. It'a combination of suprise and constipation!

Aunty Jen and Uncle Rusty and Cousin Kaine came by to play with us. We made faces and tried on new stylish hats!

Mommy and Daddy got a new camera from Grandpa Bill for Christmas that takes movies! Hopefully next blog will have movies on it!
