Happy Birthday Kaine!, Stickers, and Waiting For Aunty Kat And Aunty Mel

Happy 12th Birthday Kaine! There was a party with cake and presents and stickers! Daddy missed the fun, but Danae and Mommy filled him in with stories and cake.

Did I mention stickers? Because stickers are our new thing. It is amazing watching her take stickers from the old place and re-arrange them on a new place, then take them back. Apparently nothing in Minutia was self adhesive.

We are anxiously awating the arrival of Mrs. Latham and Mrs. Brown (A.k.a. Diaz and Mel). I'm told there will be margarittas involved.

This was the one that did it. Babygirl is finally sick of the camera. Thanks alot Mommy!

There are stickers involved in this video - be warned!

Phoenix is exactly a month old today! Yay eat, poop and sleep!

More Words, More Teeth and Pie!

We are a little late with the blog this week, Daddy had to watch the Colts whip up on the Jaguars last night (29-7). We have had a very exciting week! We are also saying "Cheese" and "Keys" and "GG". We're getting better at who's "Mommy" and who's "Daddy". I think she might have been mixing them up on purpose because it gets such rise out of us.
We got the Jungle Book on DVD. Not as thrilling as Finding Nemo or Cars, but Daddy is happy to report that Danae dances during the musical numbers - especially "I Wanna Walk Like You".
Daddy is sad to report that we have stopped rocking Danae to sleep at night. Mommy gets Danae to sleep at 8:45, but Daddy never got her down before 9:30. It was decided that Daddy's method might be detracting from over-all sleep management. Daddy misses rocking Babygirl dearly.
Mommy, Grandma Sue and the Girl GG made appple pies this week. Mommy has been pushing the pie for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Mommy and Daddy went and got haircuts this morning from someone besides Aunty Cat for the first time in like, 8 years. Daddy is not happy with his haircut. Not Happy!

Our musical training is coming along nicely. So far we have mastered the guitar, drums, the bassoon and now the organ!

okay, maybe the bassoon hasn't been mastered yet, but we're only 17 months!

Parties, Pasta and Pumpkins!

We had a busy and wonderful week! We had a house-warming party, we went apple picking, we ate noodles , and we carved pumpkins!
We are also saying "mommy" indiscriminately to Mommy and Daddy. Daddy was a little worried, but he's over it now.
We seem to be picking up words at random. Some words stick, and some words don't. Everynight we're practicing "eye, nose, mouth, head, hair".

The house-warming party was excellent! Everyone seem to have a great time (although it was a little short on chairs). Danae even got to dance a little - her favorite thing to do in crowds!

The next day we went apple-picking with Grandpa Bill! In this picture, Mommy and Danae are actually hauling in the harvest apples for the season. It's true!

After a hard day of apple harvesting, nothing beats being pulled around by Kaine. It's good practice for football.

We also ate spaghetti for the first time!

And finally, the pumpkin carving, which we had absolutely no interest in whatsoever. We played with brooms most of the time, although I think we enjoyed being in the garage.

We Live In Port Huron Now!

Many things have happened in the last two weeks! We're happy to report only minor breakage during the move. Everything went fine despite a few hitches here and there. Much better than moving 1500 miles, let me tell you! The cats still sang to me on the ride though.

Little Phoenix made his debut on September 29th! Yay Aunty Cat and Greg!

Danae finally got to ride the rocking horse Grandpa Ron and Grandma Fely got her for her first birthday, and guess what? She loves it!

We have discovered where all the mud puddles are in the new house. We put them to good use.

In case your wondering, yes, almost every activity ends in nudity.

Danae helped Daddy put the T.V. together!
