Making Pee In The Potty and Getting Ready For Florida

That's right! This week we finally put a deposit in the big white bank! We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house (Daddy got stuck in the snow!), and all of our favorite toys keep disappearing (Mommy is packing them.).
We are very excited to be going to see our Florida friends! We got a new bathing suit, and we've been working on which end it goes on. Hint: Not a hat!

We have fallen madly in love with Woody and Buzz. Elmo doesn't get a look in anymore, and there are consequences if our Woody and Buzz demands are not met!

Starting With The Potty And GG's House

We have had a very industrious week! We spent the night over GG's house, we stacked 6 blocks (which Daddy didn't know the queen of destruction could do), and we started potty training-training. Danae got a baby potty that fits over the real potty. We always ask her if she wants to sit on it and she always says yes. Nothing happens, but it's exciting because there's always that chance...

Girl GG's Birthday was on Saturday (I think she turned 40!) and we went over to her house for dinner and cake. We forgot the camera because it wasn't on the list of things-to-bring-over. Take Daddy's word for it, it was nice.
Then the GGs and Nama watched Danae while Mommy and Daddy went to another Birthday party! This one did not have cake. Word is everything went well, but the last thing Daddy heard as Mommy dragged him out of the door of GG's was "Daddy! Daddy!".
Daddy was expecting trouble!

See this? Practice!

Nothing there yet!

Sorry, no movies this week...

Uncle Jay Comes To Visit and Ducks!

We have had an exciting week! Uncle Jay came to visit! He could only stay for a little while, and Danae was very sad to see him go.
We'll see him very soon, though! Mommy already has several plans for our trip to Florida.

We also went down to the river and played with ducks! It was very funny to see Danae in her pink coat chasing a flock of ducks! Daddy forgot the camera, but he still laughs when he thinks about it.
For the record, the ducks were not very happy with being chased. Shouldn't be ducks then, right?
We're a little late this week because Daddy had to close the bookstore last night, and there were technical problems.
