Almost Spring, Brooms and Stars

Today all the snow melted! Yay!

We had had a very exciting week! We swept snow, Aunty Jen watched us for an evening (we were very good.) and we're seconds away from sentences. On purpose.

Mommy and Daddy put glow-in-the-dark stars on our ceiling, and guess what? It keeps us in bed!

When we can't go outside, we go to the play area at the mall. We get our exercise, and we've even made friends!

For some reason, we love to sweep snow, or "buush". It's not enough if we do it alone - Daddy must brush too. It's a big job, see?

Happy Easter!

We have had a very excellent week! We had an egg hunt, we played new games, learned many new words, and rode a four-wheeler!
We started the morning off with the easter egg hunt. For having neither heard, nor seen nor read about looking for Easter eggs, we did very well. We really didn't start to get it until about the 5th one.

We had Easter Sunday over at GG's. It was very nice! Kaine got Danae an Easter bag with a pink Detroit Tigers bat and ball, and cap. There have been no cat-beatings so far.

Nama helped us try on some bunny ears. She's fuddy!
We played an wonderful game where we moved candy eggs from a gravy dish into an egg holder and back again, and sometimes on to a plate. It was called the candy eggs from a gravy dish into an egg holder and back again, and sometimes on to a plate game. Danae won.

Mommy took us outside. It was still very cold, but the sun was shining and we heard some crazy noise from the woods

Aunty Jen, Danae and Foster wondering what that noise is...

It's Kaine! And he took Danae for a very nice ride around the GG's house!

We thought it was very much Otay! We were a little upset when the ride came to an end, though.

Guess who loves Mario, even though she has no hand-eye coordination yet?

Foster's Baby Shower and Tools

Look what we can do! We can drag smaller objects and stand on them to help us reach the tops of larger objects! What fun! What delight! What a disaster waiting to happen!
Al least bubbles are still safe. Physically. We still have half a melt-down if we see the bubbles but aren't given the bubbles.
Bed time is progressing nightly. Now, instead of a drawn-out cry, we get a very specific 10 minutes of "Daddy! Daddy!" then she's out. Sucks to be Daddy, though.

We also had our cousin Foster's baby shower this weekend! It was very nice, and there was banana cream pie and balloons and everyone came over!

Danae wanted nothing to do with the sucky before. Now she can't get enough.

Aunty Jen swallowed GG's car keys and everyone is trying to push them back up!

This guy here? Loves him some diaper cake. Ate 2 whole pieces.

Daddy thinks Danae could beat up Neo...
(There is no spoon!)

New Words and Tubas

We have had a very exciting week! We visited everybody and learned many new words! - of course, we forget them almost instantly, but we're on top of the last word in every sentence!
We visited Grandma and Grandpa Nurenberg! Grandpa let us play the tuba and made us chicken alfredo and sugarless cookies!

We really wanted to play Grandma's violin, but Daddy thought that maybe we should stick to brass and percusion for a while.

We visited GG's and Nama and Kaine and Aunty Jenn! We're very excited about our new cousin coming soon! We've been picking out things that are maybe to young for us and getting them ready for Foster.

Still lovin' our "me" time.

Daddy is very sad to report that tonight, just an hour ago, he put Danae to bed like a big girl and left the room before she was asleep. Daddy hasn't been this sad since he had to stop rocking her. Danae did not enjoy it either. Daddy wishes he could rock her to sleep until she's, like, 30, but baby girl has to fall asleep on her own.

Super Mega Florida Vacation Blog and Happy Birthday Mommy!

We had a wonderful time in Florida! We saw all our friends (except Uncle Tony and Uncle Aaron - we missed you! We were looking forward to Uncle Aaron's Wild Pony Ride!) and had many exciting adventures!
We stayed at La Casa De Latham, in the Tiffany room, which may have been renamed the Nurenberg room. Aunt Kathy (who has been renamed Daffy or Boody, it's difficult to say which) and Booda were very nice!

Uncle Joey watched Toy Story with us. See Woody peeking?

For Mommy's birthday we went out for sushi. Chopsticks are very entertaining, but difficult to eat with.

The next day, we went for a very long car ride to see Aunty Cat and Aunty B. Notice how pale we look? We got car-sick a couple minutes after this picture was taken.

We finally met Uncle Greg and Phoenix! They were very nice! Uncle Greg even let us play guitar with him...

We're pretty sure that Phoenix will grow up to be a Christmas elf. Santa pays good money in his workshop, and the benefits are wonderful!

The next day we hung out with Aunty B and Brian, who we don't seem to have any pictures of! We loved the golf cart, and insisted on a ride every 15 minutes or so. We bought Daddy's line about the gold cart needing gas (golf carts are electric, silly!) and we were able to get off for a couple minutes at a time.

We also made friends with Aunty B's and Brian's nephews.

There was much swimming. We even dunked our own head under water!

We went to the beach with Aunty Didi and Aunt Daffy! The birds were a little too fast for us to catch, but we sure tried!

Daddy got to go out with Uncle Pauly and Joey to hang out with Jay, and we stayed home with Mommy and played games with the girls.

The next day, we went to Gumbo Limbo, a kind of nature preserve.

We saw many butterflies (fies!)

And big turtles!

We saw Michelle and Kira, who, if Daddy's not mistaken, is being born about the time he's writing this!

We miss you Florida friends! We will see you again soon!
