Tuesday, however, the Pooh and Tigger throw was followed by a Danae throw. Daddy was bending down to get them and he looks up to see one leg out and - whoop! Daddy barely had time to catch her by her arms. She had never even looked like she was going to climb out before, but she must have been thinking about it for a long time. The first time was professional.
Thus it began. Tuesday night was loooong. Couldn't put her back in the crib, so Daddy removed all the toys from the living room. We sat in the dark, waiting for even a sign of sleep. When she couldn't find toys, she played with shoes (all the shoes go outside), she played with the footstool (into the computer room with the footstool). All we had were Tigger, Pooh and her blanket (which she calls Mit). So she put Mit over Tigger and Pooh and said "Sleep!" and made snoring sounds.
The next day, while Daddy was at work, Nama and Mommy converted the crib into a bed. Now she wants very little to do with the bed. Danae no longer sleeps, she takes naps on the floor of four hours apiece. From 2:00 until whenever is playtime (though we are working very hard on that). Mommy seems to have a working aproach. Daddy is a little more "when she gets tired, she'll lay down and sleep".

Daddy finally got her down around 3:00.

For the record, Mommy's method is better.
